One of our goals at Reynolds Marketing Solutions was to provide a central location on the web for the Lake Oconee community and surrounding areas. We dreamed of a website that would provide information for local businesses, real estate, events, lodging, restaurants, weather, and basically anything that someone might be looking for in the area. Best of all we wanted to provide this as a FREE service.
Launched in January of this year, LakeOconeeLiving.com has already had over 5,000 hits. Website hits are growing each month by a rate of 500 hits per month. Visitors have come from 12 different countries and 47 of the 50 states in the USA with Georgia, Florida, New York, and South Carolina leading the way.
LakeOconeeLiving.com now includes over 700 local businesses in its business directory. Whether you are looking for a contractor or a church to worship at you can find it here. We provide each business with a description, contact information, a logo, downloadable menu or brochure, and a Microsoft Virtual Earth Map to their place of business.
LakeOconeeLiving.com also offers over 400 real estate listings that are provided by Sycamore Real Estate, Century 21 Minchey Properties, and local real estate agents. All agents and brokers are invited to place their listings on LakeOconeeLiving.com free of charge. Each real estate listing includes listing information, a photo gallery, and a Microsoft Virtual Earth Map to their location.
In addition to MLS driven real estate listings, LakeOconeeLiving.com also provides For Sale By Owner properties. If you would like to list you properties For Sale By Owner, please contact us. This is also a free service that we offer.
The News section of LakeOconeeLiving.com provides news articles from around the world that mention Lake Oconee or its surrounding areas. We thought that this would be a great place for the local community to keep up with what the rest of the world is saying about the Lake Oconee community.
The LakeOconeeLiving.com events calendar lists upcoming events for the local area. All events are gathered from local chamber of commerce’s, magazines, newspapers, and user submissions. If you would like to submit an event we would be glad to list it free of charge.
The Limelight section of the website is a photo sharing tool for the Lake Oconee community. You are encouraged to sign up for a free account and share your photos of local events, parties, get-togethers, business openings, etc with the community. The Reynolds Marketing Solutions staff will also be out taking photos and loading them to LakeOconeeLiving.com.
The Weather section of LakeOconeeLiving.com provides local forecasts, weather radars, national forecasts, and neighborhood forecasts for the Lake Oconee area.
